7 Ways to be Free from Bedwetting

A kid-friendly activity sheet designed to educate young readers on pelvic health through illustration and storytelling.

Year: 2025

Client: Shiloh Pelvic Physio Services: Illustration, Infographic Design, Print Layout 🔍 Project Overview

This infographic was created to support Shiloh Pelvic Physio’s mission of educating youth and families about pelvic health and bedwetting. The goal was to present sensitive health information in a gentle, playful, and engaging way, using custom illustrations, interactive comic-style panels, and simplified language. Designed as a colouring page, this black-and-white layout encourages kids to engage creatively with their own learning. 🎯 Audience + Goals

  • Target: Kids, Parents, Educators, and Health Practitioners

  • Tone: Friendly, Playful, Approachable

  • Purpose: To offer strategies for dry nights and pelvic wellness in a visual and non-intimidating format

3. Digital Illustration + Layout Each of the 12 illustrations was created from scratch in Adobe Illustrator, then placed into a comic-style layout using Adobe InDesign. Tools Used: Sketchbook → Procreate → Adobe Illustrator → Adobe InDesign Illustrations: 12 custom pieces, all kid-safe and easy to follow 🎯 Challenges The Balloon Metaphor Originally, we tried to represent muscle tension with balloons, but this metaphor didn’t feel right. We shifted to a character-based approach that better suited young audiences.

Personal Growth During Production I was also in school for character design at the time. Every class changed how I saw my own work, and pushed me to keep improving mid-project! 🎯 Final Delivery Delivered 1 Infographic (Print + Web formats)

🎯 Reflection This was one of the most complex but rewarding projects I’ve worked on, with educational value, creative challenge, and visual storytelling all wrapped into one. I’m incredibly proud of how it came together.
