Igloo Design Lab | A Workshop for Creative Kids

🧊 What Is Igloo Design Lab?

Igloo Design Lab is a creative design workshop that introduces kids to the basics of:

• Character design

• Environment design

• Creative storytelling

• Video game history (at an age-appropriate level)

Inspired by the classic online game Club Penguin, this workshop invites kids to celebrate the nostalgia through original character creation and world design. No official characters or assets are used. Instead, kids bring their own penguin ideas to life.

• Date: January 24th, 2026

• Duration: 1 Hour ( 9am to 10am )

• Age Group: Creative Crew (Ages 9–13)

• Location: The Space ( 23 Heather Crescent ) London, Ontario - East London

🎨 What Kids Will Create

During the workshop, each child will:

• Design an original penguin character

• Create a cozy igloo environment

• Customize details like colours, accessories, and layout

All materials are provided, including templates, references, stencils, and art supplies. Every child leaves with their own completed artwork.

👨‍👩‍👧 Supervision & Format

Igloo Design Lab is a parent-stay workshop.

Parents or guardians are required to remain on-site for the duration of the session.

This format allows kids to feel supported while creating and ensures a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for everyone.

• All art materials and templates

• Guided instruction

• Water, juice boxes, and peanut-free snacks

• A screen-free, age-appropriate creative experience

No prior art or design experience is required.

📸 Photos & Privacy

Bri Artx Studio is a face-free zone.

Photos may be taken of artwork, hands creating, or materials for documentation and promotion. No photos will include children’s faces, names, or identifying features. Photo participation is optional and never required.

📝 Waiver Information

A completed Bri Artx Studio workshop waiver is required for participation. The waiver will be emailed to you along with your digital ticket after purchase.
